We took this to the beach last week and found it extremely easy to set up. Even one person could set this up if the conditions are mild.We had one day that was pretty windy. Like any other canopy of this quality, the stakes alone will not hold in the sand. We took canopy sand bags, filled them that day and wrapped them around the legs. This ensured that the tent wasn't going anywhere. And it held up just fine.
I highly recommend the bags instead of the rope/stakes provided. You can get them on eBay for about $18. I attached an image of them.The bag in comes in has 2 straps that make it easy to carry. As with all canopies, once you take the cover out of the bag, you will have to stuff it back in. I'll never understand why they don't make the carry bag a little bigger knowing we won't be able to fold it back to it's shipping size.Overall, I recommend this canopy.
We bought the combo with the 4 folding chairs which I will review separately. I don't recommend them. They are too small. I bought this canopy to set up in front of my 10' X 20' tent. We put the picnic table under it on our family camping trip.

I didn't realize that the canopy came in a long, square, canvas hard shell duffle bag. The bag had plenty of straps and roller wheels at one end making it easy for one person to roll it out to your location. You will need the rollers because the canopy is very heavy.We practiced setting this up in our backyard first. If you read the instructions and practice one time you will be a professional. Once you understand the principal, it is quick and easy to set up.
The material the canopy is made of is heavy duty and vented on top. The sturdy metal frame is one piece that folds open easily.The only drawback is the little weak metal stakes they include to hold your canopy down. You have to realize that your canopy is a medium size parachute. The slightest wind will propel it into the next county.
Buy the Walmart anchor kit and ropes and this will last you for many years.
